What to include in a bug report
- macOS version and Mac model (Apple silicon required).
- Hugging Monkey version (menu bar → About).
- What you said or asked it to do, what you expected, and what actually happened.
- Whether Screen Recording / Accessibility / Microphone permissions are granted.
Common setup questions
- Which API keys do I need? Your own OpenAI key (real-time voice) and
Anthropic key (computer control). You pay those providers directly for usage; see their
dashboards for pricing.
- Where are my keys stored? Only on your Mac —
~/Library/Application Support/Hugging Monkey/config.env, file mode 600.

- Wake word does not respond? The app listens for the wake word only when
idle, using a local offline model. Check the microphone permission, then quit and reopen.
